[schooltool-dev] Bug #139470 more important than "wishlist"

Hi Tom,

I would like to argue that Bug #139470 (Want Preferred Name back) is more important than wishlist.  Here is my use case:

I have a student named Shamsuddin who wants to be called Sham (and I *want* to call him that ;-).  I have another student named James who wants to be called Andrew.  Then there are several Wills, Williams, and Bills.

I'm a perfect customer for this, since it is so hard for me to remember names anyway.  I need help... digital help... the kind SchoolTool can (and *should* provide).

So... can we please raise the priority of this little ditty and get someone to fix it?  It shouldn't be hard.  The code is already in demographic person.  We just need it in person.
