[schooltool-dev] Broken schooltool ubuntu package

The schooltool package in schooltool's feisty repository seems to be fairly
broken. Schooltool can only be launched from the root directory (relatives
links maybe?) and when I am in there gives me a "resource temporarily
unavailable message". Should I depend on the  debian unstable version
instead?
