How impervious is the schooltool HTTP server to malformed HTTP requests?

I don't know. So I would almost always run SchoolTool behind Apache or
Squid.

But, if you really want to, dropping privileges is the right way. AFAIKR
Paste can do that, but I'm not sure how to work it into the config file.
